Hey there, I’m Alex 👋

I’m a professional problem-solver, passionate about designing crisp, friendly products backed by research and testing. In my 6 years in product design, I’ve grown to specialize in B2C e-commerce– striving for that sweet spot of balancing customer needs, business needs, and elegant technical implementations.

Right now, I’m a Senior Experience Designer Rocket Travel. Before that, I designed employer products at Bluecrew. At Interior Define, I partnered with engineers and product owners to design landing pages, launch new features, and lead large-scale UX projects. While I was at the global architecture firm Perkins+Will, I designed enterprise-level applications used by clients and employees.

Before moving cross-country to learn digital design, I worked for an edtech nonprofit, designing better ways to support our partners. Before that, I worked for a nonprofit consulting firm, designing ways to communicate complex findings more simply.

When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me volunteering as a career mentor with DESIGNATION, taste-testing local burritos, obsessively playlisting, and snapping pictures of my rescue dog Jonesy.
